Microcurrent gives amazing results as a one off treatment, but even more impressive and longer lasting results when a course is undertaken.
The idea of course is two per week for six weeks, then once a month maintenance.

During the treatment, a glass bulb like probe, is glided over the skin the glass bulb has neon gas inside and a light electrical current. This facial is the face of all facials! This combines two electrical machine based therapies, steam, enzyme peel – to smooth, brighten and unclog pores – great for even sensitive skins, extractions, massage to the décolleté and hands and arms, tissue mask, and icy globes. With moisturiser and sunscreen to finish.

CLINICARE CARBOXY FACIAL
​
Starting off with our signature double steam cleanse, enzyme peel and extractions, we then apply the Carboxy gel and mask - this causes a chemical reaction releasing and pushing carbon dioxide into the skin, forcing the skin to produce oxygen. The oxygen stimulates cell regeneration so skin health and quality is enhanced. It reduces wrinkles and their depth, improves blood flow and cell creation and turnover. It reduces pigmentation spots and dark circles and puffiness under the eyes. Skin is smoother, pores appear reduced and face contours are sharper and less puffy. This mask is left on for 30 minutes and a glorious 30 minute massage to décolleté, hands and shoulders begin, the mask is removed, then icy globes with Vitamin C gel is applied for extra brightening and detoxification. SPECIFIC IONTOPHORESIS FACIAL
​
For products to make their biggest effect on the surface of the skin, we need them to penetrate through to the deeper layers.
By using a small electric current, it is possible to ‘push’ these ingredients into the skin much more effectively. In fact, penetration can be up to 400 times more normal application.
Galvanic iontophoresis is the technical name for this process. It involves a wet surface on the skin, and then applying a metal electrode to the skin. The sensation is not painful, and feel a little ‘tingly’.
The benefits of this process on the skin is it gives it a huge boost of skin care products that have a rejuvenating and hydrating effect on the skin, leaving it glowing and bright.

Lash Lifting
We use Lash Bomb and Brow Bomb by Beautiful Brows for all lash lifting and brow lamination treatments.
Lash bomb Lash Lift is an innovative method of giving the illusion the natural lashes are longer and have more volume using formulations and products made in the UK. The eyes are the focal point of any face and enhancing the natural eyelashes giving them an amazing lift and tint is a striking way to make the most of what we were born with –natural beauty!
SKIN SENSITIVITY/PATCH TEST:
A patch test must be carried out at least 24-48 hours prior to treatment date. The result from the test will be either positive or negative. A positive result will be recognised by irritation, swelling or inflammation of the skin. If this occurs, we will not proceed with the treatment. A negative result produces no skin reaction and we can proceed with the treatment.

LASH BOMB AFTERCARE
The aftercare advice is given to ensure the client fully understands what should and should not be done 24-28 hours post treatment for longevity of the lash bomb treatment results
Do not apply make-up or receive any other eye treatments for 24-48 hours after your treatment.
Avoid rubbing the eyes
Avoid putting contact lenses back in for 24-48 hours
Avoid swimming/sauna for 24-48 hours
Keep lashes dry for 24-48 hours
Use the Castor Oil aftercare product given to you by your therapist 2 x daily to keep lashes conditioned, healthy and glossy.
Comb the lashes upwards using the mascara wand
Sleep on your back for up to 2 days after treatment to prevent the lashes being squashed by the pillow.
Brow Lamination
This will help give you a uniform, full eyebrow shape. This is the ultimate solution for eyebrows that do not have symmetry where the hairs follow a different pattern, with lamination we can realign the brows in such a way to give them the desired shape you want and a fuller look.​
This treatment solves the messy brow issue, creates volume and fullness, while giving you a sleek well-kept brow shape for up to 2 months. With a new protein composition based on liquid keratin and silicone you can also encourage brow growth by creating a protective film around the hair.

BROW BOMB AFTERCARE
- Do not apply make-up or receive any other eye treatments for at least 24 hours after your treatment.
- Avoid swimming/sauna for 24 hours
- Keep brows dry for 24 hours
- Use a brow conditioner daily
- Avoid the temptation to over touch the brow area after treatment.
- No self-tanning products should be used on the face for 48 hours after the treatment
- Apply the castor oil aftercare given to you by your therapist 2 x daily to keep brows smooth, healthy and glossy, it also helps keep them in your chosen position all day.
Waxing
I use a lavender cream wax which is very gentle and ideal for all skin types including very sensitive.
After cleansing the area to be waxed, I then prep the area with either a pre wax oil or talc to remove any excess moisture or sweat, this ensures that the wax does not adhere to the skin but comes off cleanly and easily removing only the hair causing little discomfort to the client, then a sensitive after wax oil, cream or gel- I use all depending on what is needed for each individual client is applied and any small left over hairs will be threaded or tweezed out, depending on the area treated.
For all intimate waxing especially Hollywood and Brazilian I use the “Kim Lawless Cockney Rebel” hot wax which is the gentlest I’ve found for this area of waxing. It sets immediately, there’s no after sting and it removes all types of hair with the same great results.
Wax does not contain bacteria killing ingredients, even when used at a high heat so the risk of infection is high. We are a strictly NON double dipping salon so you know that you really are in the safest and most sterile of hands, plus we wear fresh disposable gloves and aprons for each client, again for the ultimate in hygiene.
WAXING AFTERCARE
- No perfumed products for 2-3 days
- Avoid using hot water on the area for 24 hours
- No application of any moisturises on the area for 24 hours
- Apply aloe vera for 2 to 3 days afterwards
- Do not touch the area or wear restrictive clothing
- Do you not have sunbeds, no swimming, no saunas, no jacuzzis and no steam rooms for 24 hours
- Do not apply make up to the area for 12 hours.
- No dermabrasion or peels on the area for 1-2 weeks.
Body Treatments
Body Exfoliation​
​
Whether you’re going away or just want smooth, glowing, soft and more youthful skin, a Twinoaks Beauty full body or back exfoliation is the perfect luxury treatment to combat dry, dull skin and leave you and your skin feeling invigorated and super super silky.
The skin is the body’s largest organ, and it is constantly renewing itself. During this process, dead skin cells build up on the surface – leaving your skin looking a as fat feeling rough, dry and dull. We need to help it along by exfoliating it and there is nothing better than a professional exfoliation treatment.

WHAT TO EXPECT
At Twinoaks Beauty we begin with dry body brushing the skin, this is a mixture of thorough exfoliation and massage, we use our hand and a dry, natural brush over the body in long, pressured strokes. This ancient technique lifts and buffs away dead skin cells, encourages toxins to be drained away and increases circulation, it is known for helping with cellulite too! We then use a massage buffer to further pummel the areas treated to awaken and enliven. We apply one of our body scrubs - depending on what you skin needs on the day and massage it all over the area treated, this unclogs pores and removes dead skin cells that leave your skin feeling and looking tight, dry and congested. Then warm mitts are used to remove all of the scrub this leaves your skin feeling super smooth, soft, perfectly polished and revitalised, a body oil to rehydrate your skin will be applied.
For extra luxury opt for a full body or back scrub with massage too! This includes all of the above plus the chosen massage -either aromatherapy, Swedish or deep tissue will be performed. Leaving you utterly relaxed and renewed.

Massage
​
Aromatherapy massage is used to relax and heal body, mind and soul. It can be used for pain management and improves mood. The use of different essential oils, creating a synergy, enhances the benefits of massage greatly.
Swedish massage is a therapeutic massage treatment that works the soft tissues and muscles to help relax and warm the entire body, it creates a calming and balancing effect on the nervous system.
We use five main massage techniques, Effleurage, petrissage, hacking, cupping and pounding. These improve circulation, soothe muscles, detoxifies and relaxes. It soothes tight muscles and boosts well-being, Swedish massage also offers a whole host of other health benefits, including:
Easing muscular plain and flushing out toxins, improves blood circulation throughout the body, brings new oxygen to the skin cells, invigorates mind, body and soul and helps keep ligaments and tendons supple. It improves range of motion, reduces emotional and physical stress, eases pain and chronic pain.

Deep tissue massage is a technique that's mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. It is stress relieving, it can reduce pain, lower blood pressure and also heart rate, reduce arthritis symptoms, rehabilitate injured muscles.

Massage during pregnancy has many benefits: it relaxes mammas, and aids a better night’s sleep, improves circulation, reduces swelling, relieves lower back and hip pain, relieves sciatica and can even prepare the body for labour and birth.

Lava shell massage is the world's first self heating massage tool, these are naturally hygienic and non-porous so especially perfect during this pandemic, they heat the muscles creating a deeper yet incredibly more relaxing massage. The shells are used as an extension of your therapist’s hands for a continuous heated massage, unlike hot stones which lose their heat.

Oncology Massage

Oncology massage is a specific massage for people of all ages and all types of cancer.
​
It is a safe and gentle form of massage, using specialised techniques that are customised and tailored to the individual's needs.
It is non invasive and has many positive benefits including comfort, relaxation, anxiety, stress relief, improves emotional well being and provides clients with a peaceful rest during the treatment aids in one for that night too.
Hands & Feet
For hands and feet, the long lasting colour product we use is CND Shellac.
CND Shellac is the original 14+ day manicure, created in 2010. It’s a hybrid of half gel, half regular polish developed by the global leader in professional nail technology, CND. It's applied like regular nail polish, but it's cured by UV or LED light, just like gel polish. But it is not just another name for a gel polish. There is no need to thin and buff the surface of the natural nail on application, so it really is the gentlest form of long lasting colour coating out there. Removal is quick and easy, with again no buffing of the natural nail to prise off the colour and uses the CND Offly Fast product, which contain oils and vitamins, so there’s no drying out of the natural nail or surrounding skin.
We have over 100 colours to choose from and dozens of foils, glitters and different sized crystals to choose from. Simple nail art is included in all full manicure and pedicure prices.
We use all new and disposable nail files, buffers, cuticle sticks and foot files during each hand and foot nail treatment, these are then given to you to take home at the end of your treatment. We do not reuse these items on others’ like many nail bars, salons and spas do.

CND SHELLAC AFTERCARE
Use CND Solar Oil 2 x daily, avoid long soaks in the bath, wear gloves for washing up and cleaning, do not pick at your nails, skin or Shellac, do not peel it off, come and have your colour removed at Twinoaks Beauty or you can purchase the CND Offly Fast removal kit to remove your colour safely at home, do not use your nails as tools, apply hand cream twice daily and foot cream once a day.
Make Up
Make up, we use a full and varied combination of high end make up including Lancôme, Bobby Brown, Mac, Estée Lauder, Huda, BPerfect, Tarte, Make Up Geek, Urban Decay, Laura Mercier, P Louise and Anastasia Beverly Hills to name a few, to give the ultimate bridal, special occasion or soft glam make up look you require.
